Job summary

WLR ER LLC is seeking a Radiology Technologist with CT X-ray experience to operate CT equipment, capture high-quality images, position patients, and maintain infection control in a fast-paced ER environment.

The role requires attention to image quality, ability to follow physicians' orders, manage contrast administration, monitor patients during procedures, and communicate clearly to ensure patient comfort.

We prefer ARRT certification and BLS, plus an associate degree; PRN shifts offered.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in each modality is preferred.
• One year of ER hospital setting experience is preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited two-year college or technical school, with related experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanning equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Position patients accurately for scans.
• Warm-up CT scanner to extend X-ray tube life.
• Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment.
• Follow physician's instructions for scanning.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed.
• Assess CT scans for technical quality and report issues.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Monitor patients for allergic reactions during procedures.
• Maintain radiologic supply inventory and report shortages.
