Job summary

Atrium Health Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC seeks a Full-Time Adult CT/Vascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider to join an established team. Nocturnist 12-hour shifts; 7 on/7 off; weekends and holidays required; travel to other sites may be rare.

Ideal candidates are NP/PA graduates with NC license, current prescriptive privileges and DEA; NCCPA or Acute Care NP certification; BLS/ACLS; experience in cardiology or CT surgery preferred; no OR responsibilities but possible

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current license to practice as NP or PA in North Carolina.
• BLS/ACLS certified.

Responsibilities

• Provides assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, referral, and consultation in collaboration with a supervising physician.
• Maintains clinical competency for age and developmental stages of patients.
• Work independently with strong decision-making and effective communication with MDs, APPs and staff.
• Nocturnist - 12-hour shifts; rotating 7 on/7 off; weekends and holidays required.
• Possible rare travel to other sites; no OR responsibilities, but exposure to OR setting possible.
