Travel Nurse Across America Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Englewood, Colorado.

We are looking for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Englewood, CO. The right CT Tech must have at least 1 year of experience. Read below for additional requirements.

As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment and ensuring that images are accurate and passed on to physicians for interpretation. CT Techs are also responsible for patient preparation and care during CT scans.

Tasks

As a CT Tech, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks :

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed
• Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately
• Position patients correctly to scan specific areas
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image quality
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Use the McKesson PACS system effectively

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) certification, BLS certification, and state-specific licensing if required
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
