Description

Responsible for performing X-ray & CT scanning procedures and related quality control monitoring as assigned. Performs X-rays & CT scans of various body anatomies to produce clinically diagnostic images to assist physicians in diagnosis. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Responsible for X-rays & CT scans of patients across all age groups, including newborns, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Operates C-arm to assist physicians in ambulatory surgical centers. Operates equipment, processes images, and prepares rooms for procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. CT Registry preferred.
2. Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
3. Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test, including bending, stooping, standing, and sitting for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
4. Work is fast-paced. Visual acuity, hearing, stooping, reaching, and kneeling are required.
5. Physical demands include moving/transporting patients, lifting equipment, and pushing wheelchairs or stretchers.
