Job Description: Assists radiologists and staff physicians with invasive procedures, patient scheduling, clerical tasks, image processing, and participates in the CT call plan. Manages patient flow and processes, and performs diagnostic radiology and CT procedures, employing techniques suitable for all ages served, while minimizing radiation exposure to patients and staff.

Job Summary: Supports radiologists with procedures, manages patient flow, and ensures equipment readiness. Maintains accurate records, provides patient and staff education, and participates in emergency coverage and continuous education.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • 6 months experience as a registered CT Technologist.
  • Registered and certified with ARRT in Radiography.
  • BLS (CPR) certification.
  • Eligible for CT registry; to become registered within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform quality CT procedures, prepare contrast agents, and maintain equipment readiness.

  • Adhere to safety standards and hospital policies.

Work Environment: Exposure to infectious agents, hazardous chemicals, electrical and radiation hazards, and variable hours, including emergencies and short-notice absences.
