Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for weekend night shifts (7 pm–7 am) with a sign-on bonus. The role involves performing CT exams under radiologist supervision, ensuring patient safety, and delivering compassionate care across all age groups.

The ideal candidate will have AMA/JRCERT training, ARRT certification, and BLS. Prior radiology experience is preferred to support high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).
• BLS certified. Preferred: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Responsibilities

• CT examinations performed under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Operate CT equipment following prescribed standards and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

This position is Weekend Nights. There is an applicable shift differential for this position.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified. PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
