Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist for PRN Day shifts in Radiology. The role involves performing diagnostic CT exams under the supervision of a Radiologist and delivering compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate has ARRT registration, BCLS upon hire, and at least 6 months of radiologic technologist experience; AMA/JRCERT education is required. Safety and patient-centered care are emphasized across age groups.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations.

Overview:

This position is PRN Day shift.

Responsibilities:

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
