Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Augusta, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations and ensure patient safety. The role involves operating CT equipment, following prescribed standards, and collaborating with the supervising Radiologist.

Requirements include AMA/JRCERT education, ARRT and BCLS certifications, and a weekend-friendly schedule. Sign-on bonus available to eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA/JRCERT radiologic technology program or hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• ARRT and BCLS certifications required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist.
• Provide patient care for all ages including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and


• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
