We are seeking a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and research imaging procedures using ionizing radiation. The role involves independently conducting CT and molecular imaging, preparing and administering medications, and ensuring patient safety by applying ALARA principles. Key duties include verifying patient identity, optimizing imaging protocols, evaluating image quality, and assisting with interventional procedures. The technologist educates and monitors students and healthcare providers, adhering to federal, state, and institutional regulations.
Qualifications include certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB). New graduates must obtain certification prior to employment, and those hired after a specified date must advance to level 2 within 24 months. A graduate of a radiologic technology program is required, with a preference for a related bachelor’s degree.
