Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA seeks a Radiology CT Technologist to perform CT scans and assist the Radiologist during invasive procedures. You will prepare patients, administer IV contrast, and ensure safe practices. Rotations and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Prepares patients for the procedure with a full explanation and documents on appropriate worksheets.
• Interviews patients for a complete medical history and reviews EMR for pertinent history.
• Performs CT scanning and assists Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety and proper sterile technique.
