Job summary

DayToDay Health in Marietta, GA seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality CT imaging and provide a supportive patient experience in a hospital setting.

You will perform CT procedures, operate equipment to achieve optimal images, and ensure patient safety and comfort using AIDET communication, while maintaining department standards and documentation in RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (American Heart Association).

Job description

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and providing a supportive patient experience at a hospital in Marietta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines, capturing diagnostic images with technical expertise.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, ensuring optimal image quality with minimal radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and functionality of rooms and equipment, report issues promptly.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using AIDET communication.
• Administer contrast, position patients, and apply appropriate shielding and immobilization.
• Review and finalize images, complete accurate documentation in RIS/PACS, and assist with emergency responses.
• Support department workflows, maintain organized work areas, and adhere to regulatory standards.
