The role requires current radiologic science credentials with CT certification or eligibility, a focus on safety, and strong communication skills to support the healthcare team and patients in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program required
• 2-4 years of CT Technologist experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment and processing systems according to department protocols.
• Positions patients safely and prepares them for CT procedures.
• Verifies patient identity and physician orders; screens for contraindications.
• Administers contrast media and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Communicates results to radiologists and care team.
• Performs quality control on CT equipment and maintains supplies.
• Assists with interventional CT procedures as needed.
