Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT imaging with a focus on patient comfort and safety. This role requires timely image acquisition and adherence to departmental standards, supporting physicians with high-quality CT images for diagnosis and treatment.

The position emphasizes teamwork, safety, and patient care, with on-site responsibilities and a commitment to continuous professional development within the Centerpoint system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited radiology program or equivalent certificate.
• Degree in Radiology Technology preferred.
• ARRT CT registration must be obtained within 12 months of start date.
• ARRT Radiographer registration must be obtained within 12 months of start date.
• BCLS certification required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Position and assist patients on CT table with care and compassion.
• Initiate IVs for contrast administration when needed.
• Assess image quality and adjust parameters for optimal results.
• Provide post-procedure instructions and ensure patient understanding.
• Prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
