Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures ordered by physicians in a diagnostic setting. This weekend-only role runs Saturday and Sunday 2:30pm-7am with potential to flex up to 36 hours, and offers enhanced weekend and night shift pay.

Ideal candidates are ARRT-registered with CT certification (or within 6 months) and have 1–3 years CT experience, plus a 24-month Radiologic Technology Program and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• ARRT registered; CT Certification or acquired within 6 months
• 1–3 years minimum CT experience

Responsibilities

• Provide imaging procedures as ordered by the physician
• Deliver care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment while maintaining quality patient care
• Assess patient growth and development and tailor CT procedures accordingly
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while upholding patient rights and dignity

Education

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current

ARRT CT Certification or CT Certification within 6 months

Radiologic Technology Program graduate (24 months)

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. CT Technologist are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What you will do in this role:

• You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in the department


• You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs


• You will assess patients/families ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout CT procedure


• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients

What qualifications you will need:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, current


• ARRT registered; CT Certification or acquired within 6 months

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years. The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County, a Certified Primary Stroke Center and a designated Level III Trauma Center. The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville features a six-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), spacious maternity suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient breastfeeding services.
