Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures and support daily operations in a diagnostic environment.

The role requires CT skills, ARRT registration, and BLS certification with potential CT certification within 6 months. A patient-centered, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT registered.
• CT Certification is strongly preferred or must be acquired within 6 months of employment.
• A minimum of 1 year of CT experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and assess age-specific needs.
• Assess patients' ability to learn and incorporate teaching during CT procedures.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while respecting patient rights and dignity.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician and for the day-to-day activities that ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate care for patient populations in the department.

• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflecting the patient's age-specific needs.

• Assess patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout the CT procedure.

• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years. The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County, a Certified Primary Stroke Center and a designated Level III Trauma Center. The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville features a six-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), spacious maternity suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient breastfeeding services.
