Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist for a PRN/as-needed role. You will perform imaging procedures, ensuring quality patient care in a diagnostic setting.

The position emphasizes caring for patients across the lifespan, with responsibilities for teaching and supporting families, while upholding patient rights and dignity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiologic Technology Program.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT registered.
• CT Certification is strongly preferred or must be acquired within 6 months of employment.
• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician and for the day-to-day activities that ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do In This Role:

• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate care for patient populations in the department.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflecting the patient's age-specific needs.
• Assess patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout the CT procedure.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program.

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 159-bed facility providing quality healthcare to Sumner and surrounding counties for more than 45 years.
