Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of CT scan experience.
• Active NJ state radiologic license (NJDEP).
• Maintain CEU credits to stay certified.
• ARRT certification is preferred/required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Cat Scan diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures on adults and pediatrics.
• Prepare patients for scanning.
• Determine contrast type and dose to be administered.
• Provide explanations and instructions to patients.
• Perform venipuncture and IV maintenance per guidelines.
• Monitor patient condition for adverse reactions during procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education

NJDEP Radiologic Technologist license

CEU Credits
