Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to join their team in Newark, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality images in support of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

This role requires CT ARRT Certification and knowledge of radiographic equipment. Responsibilities include processing images for PACS and serving under the Radiologist's guidance. This is a Per Diem position with variable shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Effective 07/01/2015, CT ARRT Certification is required.
• Must maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality images in support of the Radiologist.
• Assist in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Skills

Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment

Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology

Proficient computer skills

Education

CT ARRT Certification

Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit
