Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, is seeking a CT Technologist for the Cat Scan department. The position is evening shift and full time, performing CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision with professional judgment in patient care.

Required qualifications include graduation from an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology, ARRT registration, NJ license, and completion of orientation programs; ARRT CT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
• NJ License required.
• Successful completion of all Orientation Programs.
• ARRT CT certification preferred (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
• Exercises professional judgment in the performance of procedures and patient care.
• Conducts other related duties assigned and maintains knowledge of other areas in the department.
• Uses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific needs.
