Job summary

The Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) offers a 12-week Student CT Technologist I– Workforce Program to build Computed Tomography knowledge and clinical competency for Registered Radiologic Technologists. Trainees work under supervision and move into a full-time CT Technologist role upon successful completion, subject to certification and competency requirements.

Reports to the CT Workforce Development Specialist and includes didactic instruction, clinical education, and hands-on

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
ARRT CT registration required within 1 year in position.
SC licensure by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
0–2 years of modality-specific experience.

Responsibilities

Complete the 12-week training program and fulfill all educational and clinical requirements.
Upon completion, transition to an available full-time CT Technologist position.
Commit to two years of full-time CT employment after training.
Reimbursement of education/certification costs if voluntary separation occurs.
Maintain ARRT CT registration within 1 year and comply with SC licensure requirements.
