Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking candidates for the Radiology Pulse Program to advance toward ARRT CT technologist certification. Trainees will learn patient positioning, cross sectional anatomy, CT operation, and image post-processing as part of a structured training path.

Upon successful completion, caregivers transition into open CT Tech roles within the same health system, with requirements including ARRT CT certification within 12 months and MA RTR licensure, plus BLS.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in the Pulse Program through UMMH.
• RTR licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Must take ARRT CT certification exam within 3 months of completing competencies.
• Must pass ARRT CT certification exam within 12 months.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Complete self-paced didactic training.
• Clinical shifts will be completed as part of the training.
• All completed exams uploaded to the ARRT website.
• Move into an open CT Tech position after Pulse Program completion.
• Complies with departmental policies, procedures, and objectives.
• Attends meetings, conferences, and seminars as required.
• Demonstrates Quality Improvement in daily operations.
• Follows health and safety regulations and requirements.
• Respects diverse views and maintains professionalism and teamwork.
• Maintains regular, reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.
