Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee. This program provides structured, hands-on CT training and mentorship to help you earn ARRT CT certification within six months while supporting real diagnostic imaging procedures.

You will work with Radiologists and Radiologic Technologists, learn to capture high-quality images, follow safety protocols, and grow your clinical expertise in a fast-paced hospital environment. Full-time with variable 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
• Radiology state license is required.
• Current ARRT- RT Certification is required upon hire
• ARRT- CT Certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Train into CT with hands-on experience — assist in real procedures alongside experienced CT Techs.
• Capture high-quality diagnostic images — follow protocols using advanced imaging technology.
• Deliver great patient care — safely prepare and position patients for efficient exams.
• Work closely with Radiologists — support procedures and keep workflows running smoothly.
• Stay sharp on standards — maintain safety, infection control, and accurate documentation
