Medical University of South Carolina offers a 12-week Student CT Technologist I program to train Registered Radiologic Technologists in CT knowledge and clinical competency.

Under supervision, trainees complete all requirements and may transition to a full-time CT Technologist after program completion, with a two-year commitment. Reimbursement arrangements may apply for early separation.

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology is required.
• ARRT CT Registration within 1 year in position is required.
• Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; ACLS is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Complete all educational and clinical requirements within the 12-week program under supervision.
• Upon successful completion, transition to a full-time CT Technologist position in the Imaging ICEE.
• Commit to two years of full-time employment in a CT FTE role after program completion.
• Education and training related costs may be reimbursed if the trainee separates early.

Educación

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology

ARRT CT Registration (within 1 year in position)

SC Radiation Quality Standards Association licensure

BLS certification (required)
