Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee in Los Angeles to join a team dedicated to excellent patient care and educational growth. You will learn CT imaging under supervision, support technologists, and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.

The role emphasizes proper positioning, contrast administration under supervision, and collaborative work with the imaging team. Completion of accredited Radiology training and BLS are required, with ARRT certification pursued within policy

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology (CRT).
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) certification within the timeframe required by policy or state regulations.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparing patients for CT exams and explains procedures in a courteous and professional manner.
• Learns proper positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
• Observes and assists with administering contrast media under supervision.
• Supports technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines.
• Participates in educational activities, in-service training, and on-the-job instruction to gain competency in CT imaging.
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for patient procedures.
• Provides professional and compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging process.
• Completes administrative tasks, paperwork, and data entry as assigned.
• Performs other related duties as assigned while learning the full scope of the CT Technologist role.
