Qualifikationen

• Must have ARRT(R) and State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
• ARRT CT certification and/or applicable State CT license within RadNet policy timeframe
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program
• BLS certification; Venipuncture certification preferred or must obtain within timeframe
• Ability to learn and apply CT equipment operation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team

Aufgaben

• Assists with preparing patients for CT exams and explains procedures professionally
• Learns positioning techniques, immobilization, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision
• Observes and assists with administering contrast media under supervision
• Supports technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and QA checks
• Maintains patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA guidelines
• Participates in educational activities and on-the-job instruction to gain competency in CT imaging
• Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for procedures
• Provides professional and compassionate care to patients throughout imaging
• Performs administrative tasks and data entry as assigned
• Learns full scope of CT Technologist responsibilities
