Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist Trainee to join our patient‑centered imaging team. You will learn CT imaging under supervision, assist with patient prep, and support image processing and quality assurance.

This role includes on‑the‑job instruction, HIPAA compliance, and opportunities to obtain ARRT CT certification within policy timelines. Sign-On Bonus: $7,500; Pay Range: $36.00-$38.00 per hour; full medical, dental and vision coverages; 401(k) Employer Match; and access to imaging centers

Qualifications

• ARRT certification and state license in Radiologic Technology (CRT) required.
• ARRT CT certification within policy timeframe or state CT license required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology program required.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Venipuncture certification preferred; if not held, must obtain within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing patients for CT exams and explain procedures.
• Learn positioning techniques, immobilization methods, and safety procedures for CT imaging under supervision.
• Observe and assist with administering contrast media under supervision if applicable.
• Support technologists with image processing, PACS transmission, and quality assurance checks.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Participate in educational activities and on-the-job instruction to gain competency.
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and prepared for procedures.
• Provide professional, compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
• Complete administrative tasks and data entry as assigned.
• Perform other related duties while learning the full CT Technologist role.
