Job summary

Wellstar North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia, is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and excellent patient care. You will perform CT procedures, ensure safety, and maintain imaging quality while following ALARA principles in a busy radiology department.

Requirements include a radiologic technology program graduate, ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, and at least one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography) and ARRT-CT; BLS (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and QA standards.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, maintain diagnostic image quality with ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient identification.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients using AIDET; minimize anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Document procedures and finalize studies in RIS/PACS, including image transfers.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Support department workflow and supply management.
