Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience; ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications required.
• BLS required; knowledge of ALARA principles and patient safety mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines and maintain diagnostic image quality.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, adjust techniques, and minimize radiation dose.
• Prepare and disinfect rooms, verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure comfort.
• Document findings in RIS/PACS and manage transfers and retrievals as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support department workflow.
