Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a CT Technologist to provide patient-centered imaging services in Computed Tomography. Under the direction of the radiologist, the CT Technologist performs CT exams and procedures at a technical level.

The CT Technologist administers ionizing radiation for adequate diagnostic quality while abiding by ALARA guidelines and meeting all regulatory requirements in providing safe and appropriate care.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a JRCERT accredited school of Radiology.
• Licensure/ Certification: Radiology License and ARRT registration.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid computer skills, including Microsoft software.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams under radiologist supervision to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Administer ionizing radiation following ALARA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
