Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia is hiring a CT Technologist for a Full Time, Weekend Day Shift. The role performs CT imaging under physician supervision, with Friday–Sunday 7am–7pm hours and a $30,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, administering contrast per protocol, maintaining patient care, ensuring radiation safety, and completing department documentation.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required).
• ARRT or CNMT (Required).
• Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging under physician direction.
• Provide quality CT imaging per protocol.
• Operate CT equipment safely and maintain it.
• Complete department documentation and manage supply inventory.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and administer CT contrast per protocol.

Hours

• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday: 7am - 7pm

Overview

Performs Computed Tomography (CT) under the direction of a qualified physician. Perform CT Technologist I responsibilities with addition of one of the following: Intervention, Dual modality CT/Diag or Hospital Based/Standing ED. Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.
