Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience at Columbia County Medical Center Hospital. You will work as part of a collaborative radiology team, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely exam completion.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, 1 year of radiology experience, and BLS. Sign-on bonus eligibility and relocation assistance are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent and an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: minimum 1 year in Radiology is required.
• Certifications: ARRT-R and ARRT-CT, plus BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines with quality imaging.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, maintaining diagnostic quality at lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Maintain infection control, document actions, and ensure patient safety throughout exams.
• Verify orders, obtain clinical history, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep to patients using AIDET to reduce anxiety.
• Prepare, position, and assist with contrast administration per protocol.
