Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care at Columbia County Medical Center Hospital. This role emphasizes diagnostic imaging, patient safety, and a collaborative care approach with technologists and other modalities.

The position requires ARRT certification in radiography and CT, BLS, and at least 1 year of radiology experience. A sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, and a full benefits package are available.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography); ARRT-CT.
• BLS certification (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines to capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and adjust techniques to maintain quality at the lowest dose (ALARA).
• Maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules and report issues.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; obtain clinical history.
• Explain procedures using AIDET; address patient questions.
