Wellstar is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience at Columbia County Medical Center Hospital in Georgia. The role emphasizes safe procedures, proper dosing, and collaboration with the care team.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging or radiographic equipment independently while maintaining ALARA principles.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care clearly and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast as per protocol using proper venipuncture techniques.
• Position patients correctly and apply markers, shielding, and immobilization as indicated.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and re-image when necessary.
• Document and finalize studies in RIS/PACS and manage transfers/retrievals.
