Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment, position patients, and ensure image quality while upholding patient safety and protocol adherence. The role requires coordination with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver timely diagnostic results.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of clinical radiology experience with CT, and a commitment to high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• 1-2 years of clinical radiology experience required.
• 2-4 years CT experience preferred in acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images per protocols.
• Position patients and ensure safety and comfort during CT procedures.
• Verify orders, screen for contraindications, and document results.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver timely results.
• Maintain CT equipment and perform routine quality checks.
