Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT equipment and deliver high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will prepare patients, position them correctly, and collaborate with radiologists to provide timely results.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of clinical radiology experience and hold ARRT or equivalent CT certification with eligibility for add-on CT credentials.

Qualifications

• Requires 1-2 years of clinical experience from an accredited radiologic sciences program.
• 2-4 years CT Technologist experience preferred in acute care settings.
• Licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and CT certification or eligibility required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images per protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for CT procedures.
• Verify orders and screen for contraindications.
• Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Explain procedures and provide patient instructions.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team.
• Assist with interventional CT procedures as needed.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control checks.
