Qualifications

• 1-2 years of clinical experience acquired through an accredited radiologic sciences program required.
• 2-4 years of experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images under established protocols.
• Prepares and positions patients for CT scans, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Verifies patient identity and orders; screens for contraindications to contrast.
• Administers contrast media per protocol and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Explains procedures to patients and provides post-exam instructions.
• Collaborates with radiologists and healthcare team to ensure accurate, timely results.
• Maintains CT equipment and performs quality control checks.
• Responds to emergencies and supports interventional CT procedures as needed.
