Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, acquire and analyze data for diagnosis, and support interventional and therapeutic CT work under physician supervision. Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R or NMTCB prior to first day of employment.
• Must complete steps required for advancing to level 2 within 24 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct patient identification and exam preparation, with proper documentation.
• Utilize imaging protocols and maintain ALARA principles to maximize patient safety.
• Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access per provider guidance.
• Evaluate image quality and verify data transfer/archival of images.
• Educate and monitor students and other health care providers.
• Assist licensed practitioners with interventional CT procedures.
• Perform CT procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
