Geisinger is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and data accuracy. The role includes administering medications and radiation exposure in line with laws and institutional policy.

New graduates must obtain ARRT-R before starting, with pathways to advance to higher levels based on performance and certification. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualificações

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required upon hire.
• New graduates must obtain ARRT-R before first day of employment.
• Advancement to CT Technologist II within 24 months of hire if eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure proper patient identification and exam preparation with confidentiality.
• Apply imaging protocols and optimize factors while ALARA principles guide safety.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed.
• Evaluate images for positioning and quality; ensure data archiving and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and other health care providers.
• Assist licensed practitioner with interventional CT procedures.
• Perform CT procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
