Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a CT Technologist to perform complex CT examinations, ensure diagnostic-quality images, and maintain patient safety throughout scanning procedures. The role requires ARRT CT certification within 9 months, NJ radiology license, and strong communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient computer skills that may include Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Responsibilities

Performs complex CT procedures.
Evaluates radiographs to ensure they contain proper identification and are of diagnostic value.
Preps patient for scanning and ensures safety protocols are followed.
Assist providers with CT guided Interventional procedures as required.
Perform CT examination and administer contrast following established departmental protocols.
Greets patients and provides explanations and instructions at a level they can understand.
Performs venipuncture, IV patency, and maintenance procedures as needed.
Adheres to infection control guidelines and sterile techniques.
