Job summary

MetroHealth is hiring a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Cleveland, OH. The role supports CT imaging, biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations, with cross-training available and a 4x10-hour shift pattern.

The position requires ARRT registration and an Ohio Radiographer License, with a up to $15,000 sign-on bonus for external applicants and a commitment to high-quality patient care in a busy Level One Trauma Center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces CT images in a variety of settings with quality results.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Performs patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures and equipment to ensure comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
