Job summary

Akumin Inc. in Raleigh, NC is looking for a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT studies while prioritizing patient safety and clear communication with radiologists.

The role requires ARRT CT registry or NMTCB, state licensure where required, and CPR certification. You will operate CT equipment, ensure imaging accuracy, and support Pacs and peripheral systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• ARRT CT registry or NMTCB acceptable per state requirements.
• Current CPR certification and state radiology licensure if required.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and screen for contraindications to radiation.
• Produce high-quality CT images and maintain image quality.
• Communicate findings with clinicians and radiologists.
• Train new technologists and Patient Coordinators.
• Troubleshoot CT scanner and peripherals.
