Advocate Health is seeking a CT technologist for the Imaging Center: Kenilworth in Charlotte, NC. The role involves CT scanning, preparing patients, verifying orders with Radiologists, and ensuring safe, accurate imaging. Requires ARRT in Radiology or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine with CT registry and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must meet all required elements of competency checklists for advancement level.
• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and advanced registry from the ARRT in CT is required.
• BLS Required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders with radiologist before exams.
• Identify and assist patients, prepare them with explanations and document procedures.
• Interview patients to obtain medical history and review EMRs for relevant data.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and maintain sterile technique; adhere to radiation safety standards.
