Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience in related field.
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
• CRT-Nuc Med Technologist (N) - ARRT Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMTCB Upon Hire required.
• CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT 2 Yrs required.
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT Upon Hire required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire required.

Responsibilities

• Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs CT procedures, producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
• Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological and socio-cultural needs of patients and families, and serves as a resource to radiology staff.
• Ensures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.

Education

Scope of Work

• Provides healthcare services, applying cross-sectional computed tomography (CT) imaging and all related duties to assist diagnosis or treatment.
• Performs CT procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
• Provides appropriate patient care and recognized patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure.
• Acts as a role model for comprehensive care, addressing the physiological, and socio-cultural needs of patients and their families and acts as a resource to other radiology employees in managing complex issues.
• Assures equipment is present and accounted for at the beginning and end of each shift.
