Job summary

Backus Hospital in Norwich, Connecticut, is actively hiring CT Technologists to join a dynamic team. Our CT Technologists perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment and participate in complex invasive CT examinations with the Radiologist or PA, using proper sterile techniques and producing CT images.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant in complex invasive CT examinations and produce CT images using sterile technique.

Position Summary:

Our skilled CT Technologists perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Techs participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile techniques and producing CT images.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program

Licensure, Certification, Registration:

• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience:

• 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of CT Technology and venipuncture.
• Accepting New Grads from a CT Scan program
