Job summary

Backus Hospital in Norwich, CT is actively hiring CT Technologists to join our Radiology team. Our CT Techs perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist physicians and participate in complex examinations with sterile technique.

We offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus for full-time CT Technologists, tuition reimbursement up to $5,250 after six months, a career ladder, generous PTO and a 401(k) match. Connecticut state Radiographer license and BLS are required; new grads from CT scan

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.
• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting preferred.
• Accepting New Grads from a CT Scan program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist the physician.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using sterile techniques and producing CT images.

Position Summary

Our skilled CT Technologists perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Techs participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile techniques and producing CT images.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program

Licensure, Certification, Registration

• Connecticut state Radiographer license required.


• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience

• 6 months experience in Radiology hospital setting preferred.


• Working knowledge of CT Technology and venipuncture.


• Accepting New Grads from a CT Scan program
