Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO seeks a PRN Weekend Shift CT Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures and support on-call coverage.

The role includes preparation of patients and equipment, adherence to safety protocols, and participation in CT-guided biopsy and related procedures. The position requires CT certification or equivalent CT experience, an associate degree or higher, and ARRT RT(R) certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in related field.
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or CT.
• 1 year+ CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in CT.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
