Job summary

BARNES-JEWISH HOSPITAL is seeking a PRN Evening & Night Shift CT Technologist to join the Imaging team in St. Louis, MO. The role supports CT imaging across standard and on-call needs, with flexible PRN scheduling and a minimum commitment of 20 hours per 6 weeks.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree or higher, plus RT(R) and/or CT certification, and has CT experience. This position works within the BJC HealthCare system’s Imaging department.

Qualifications

  • CT Certification and/or CT experience required.
  • Associate degree or higher in related field.
  • Minimum 1 year CT experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
  • Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.

Position Details
  • PRN Evening & Night Shift Coverage - Flexible PRN Schedule
  • PRN expectations are to work a minimum of 20 hrs every 6 weeks
  • CT Certification and/or Previous CT Experience
  • Advanced Modality Cat Scan Technologist position
  • CT Guided Biopsy and Procedures rotation available
  • 1 year+ CT experience

You will be working with an organization on the leading edge of diagnostic radiology. In fact, our radiology department is regarded as one of the top five in the United States, and performs over 453,000 diagnostic imaging examinations annually.

Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
