Job summary

BJC HealthCare is seeking a Full-Time CT Advanced Modality Radiology Technologist (Days) for Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. This outpatient CT role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and no on-call, weekends, or holidays.

Shift options include 4x10s or 5x8s with favorable day schedules. Requirements include an Associate degree or equivalent, and RT(R) or CT certification; CT experience is preferred.

• Associate degree or trade school equivalency or higher.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) and/or CT certification.
• CT experience 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs CT studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams and at applicable sites.

Position Details

• Day Shift: Shift can be 4 x10’s (6:30am – 5pm) with day of to be determined if Tuesday or Thursday – or – 5 x 8’s shift Mon -Fri (8am -5pm)
• NO CALL, WEEKENDS, or Holidays!
• Outpatient Oncology Dept
• CT Advanced Modality Cat Scan Technologist position
• CT Radiology Technologist – Certified – preferred
• 1 year CT experience – preferred

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education)
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or CT

Role Purpose

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
