Qualifikationen

• Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or certified NMTCB (CT) or registry eligible.
• Must register within two years of employment and maintain registry status and CE requirements annually.
• All imaging specialists must maintain current competency in HCP BLS.

Aufgaben

• Identify patients and verify identity; obtain history; explain procedures and ensure safety.
• Perform CT scans and reconstructions per protocols; select window/level settings.
• Administer IV contrast and oral contrast per protocol; establish IV access.
• Transfer images via PACS/EMR/EPIC; verify patient demographics and charge information.
• Maintain a tidy, accurate workflow; precept new employees and contribute to quality improvement.
