Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiology Technologist for CT/radiography procedures in a fast-paced department. You will ensure proper patient positioning, dose optimization, and high-quality images while collaborating with radiologists and staff.

Requirements include ARRT Radiography and CT certifications, BLS, and an accredited radiologic technology program. This is a PRN/part-time position with opportunities for professional growth and continued education support.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion.
• ARRT Radiography certification and ARRT CT certification required.
• BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and patient identity before procedures.
• Prepare patient and equipment; position for CT/radiographic examinations.
• Operate CT equipment and adjust technique for image quality while minimizing dose.
• Review images and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
• Coordinate with radiologists and department staff to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control policies.
